Effective and Not Effective Advertisments
While viewing advertisements I also viewed a few that I didn't find to be very effective. The first one was a Pepsi commercial that used three very famous people; Britney, Pink, and Beyonce. Even though they used these ideals I don't feel that the commercial was effective at all. The commercial was too long, and boring. It was somewhat confusing because it didn't enhance source credibility. The second commercial was a Burger King Eat Like a Snake Triple Whopper commercial. It was not entertaining and lasted way too long. It seemed a little gruesome which did not make me want to go purchase a burger. I did not find any part of this commercial effective at all.

Dove
I feel as though people only see this brand as soap, deodorant and other products used by many women but they have another purpose other than providing us with great products. They are focusing on the women and girls of today and their self-esteem issues. Many young women and even girls suffer from low self-esteem problems. Dove has made it their responsibility to help these women and girls by creating the Campaign For Real Beauty and the Self-Esteem Fund. They are getting this information out into the public by continuing to create eye catching advertisements that show many differnet types of women and show that they are all beautiful in their own way. They have also held confidence-building programs that send out positive messages that defined beauty in many different ways. By buying this brand it not only inproves your health and skin but it also helps to improve other womens views about themselves.

The Top 10 Ad Agencies
- J. Walter Thompson
- Leo Burnett Worldwide
- McCann Erickson Worldwide
- BBDO Worldwide
- Grey Worldwide
- DDb Worldwide
- Ogilvy & Mather Worldwide
- Foote, Cone & Belding Worldwide
- Y&R Advertising
- Publicis Worldwide
After viewing multiple commercials and printed ads from each of these advertising agencies Grey Worldwide was my favorite. They had many great commercials that were attention getting and could relate to most age groups. There were three commercials from this agency that really caught my eye. First there was the Pantene commercial that had the little girl cutting off all of her baby doll's hair and then she give it to her mother who has cancer and has gone bald. At the end it explained that when you buy Pantene you donate some money to cancer research. This commercial had a great affect on me because not only am I buying shampoo for myself but I am also helping to contribute to cancer research. I feel like this commercial is great for all age groups and has a great affect on people. The second commercial from this agency that I really enjoyed was the E-Trade commercial that had the baby boy talking in a mans voice and telling you how to get set up and use E-Trade. It was a very humorous commercial that really kept your attention the entire time. I feel like this would be for an age group of adults although younger ages could enjoy it just because of the entertainment aspect. Last was the Captain Morgen commercial when the guy was in a bar with his friends but is supposed to be attending a wedding with his girlfriend. It is very humorous and entertaining. It is one of those commercials that you would want to watch over and over because alot is said in it and I feel like each time you watch it you hear something new that you didnt catch before.
